Continuing Education Program

The Hawaii Quality Assurance System Continuing Education Program (HQAS CEP) is proud to announce the new online continuing education program for sign language interpreters who hold the local credential.  One can track their own continuing education units (CEUs) online.

If you are interested in attending a workshop not previously approved by DCAB, please submit the Program Provider Application at least 30 days before the workshop date.

If you are interested in an online workshop, home study, mentorship (being a mentor or mentee), or other forms of independent or participant initiated study, please submit the Summary Form at least 30 days before your intended continuing education activity.

Once you have received approval and completed your mentorship, please submit the Mentor/Mentee Questionaire.

Please submit a Participant Verification Form each time you complete a CEU Activity. If a signature is required, please scan and attach to your form or submit by mail. Contact our administrator if you have any questions.

Your Tracking Form is generated automatically based on your Participant Verification Forms. This page will allow you to submit a request to have an updated Tracking Form Summary emailed to you.

If you believe you will be unable to complete your 3.0 CEUs by the deadline, November 30, please submit an Extension Request.
